The weeping willow is a very famous tree, having been cultivated over the entire world since the days of the silk road. Known for it’s droopiness, the weeping willow gets its name from its similarity in appearance to a crying woman with it’s long branches and leaves resembling her long drooping hair as she cries.
The Salix doesn’t have much of a use other than decoration which is why it is often seen in public areas such as parks and rivers.
