Nymphaeales are an order of plants within the Angiosperm clade. They are defined as aquatic plants and lack the growth tissues to produce things like wood. The plants mostly only survive by having their leaves floating on the surface of water and often cant survive in regions like oceans or seas where the water is too rough.
