Wrinkled Viburnum’s are a species of Viburnums found commonly around the Perinees mountains of southern France and northern Spain. The name is also given to another speciies of the same genus, the Viburnum Rhytidophyllum which tends to grow in Asia. As the plants don’t cross over growing the locations, there is little confusion as to which plant the name is referring to depending on whereabouts in the world you are.
The species, like all Viburnums, are Evergreen, meaning they never shed their leaves even in the winter. The plants are still affected by the seasons however as they only grow berries in the summer, usually between June and September.
