The Saucer Magnolia is actually a hybrid tree between Magnolia Denudata and Magnolia Liliiflora. It is one of the most popular species of magnolia being a commonly found plant within high society gardens.

As with most magnolia trees, it’s bright flowers are found in the early spring where it quickly sheds its petals before sprouting leaves which last until the winter.
